UNIT / PROGRAM: Policy & Planning Unit - IT Section   STATUS: Contract of Service (COS)  SALARY: SG 11 (PHP 30,024)

PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: FDCP Central Office - Makati

RESPONSIBILITY:

• Develop and maintain JuanFlix mobile app features using React Native and Expo;
• Implement UI components and ensure responsive layouts for iOS and Android;
• Integrate mobile app with MySQL database through backend APIs;
• Conduct testing across different devices, OS versions, and screen sizes;
• Assist with AWS service configuration and monitoring under supervision;
• Debug and troubleshoot mobile app issues and performance problems;
• Implement data caching and offline functionality;
• Assist Lead Developer with complex features and integrations;
• Maintain code documentation and follow coding standards;
• Support app updates, testing, and deployment processes;
• Monitor app performance and report issues or improvements;
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Unit Supervisor and Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
• Fresh graduate (minimal work experience is an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript programming
• Familiarity with mobile app development concepts
• Basic understanding of React or React Native (or willingness to learn)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
• Willingness to learn Expo Framework, AWS Services, and mobile development best practices
• Strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
